Almost caught up...

Hi everyone,

I've been traveling quite a bit lately and am still behind on my Hanami, but I'm working very hard to catch up. I'm almost finished the basketweave section. I'm quite happy about this because it requires a lot of concentration (for me, anyway) and I'm finding I'm having more and more difficulty concentrating on the pattern. I'm hoping I haven't made any mistakes...

Anyway, here is my progress. I'm very much looking forward to starting Chart A!

Thanks catknip! How is yours coming along?

Nicely done! Maybe you should make yourself a wedding ring shawl for your wedding!

I am actually starting my 2nd (YES - SECOND) basket weave repeat! I am also simutaneously listening to a podcast on knitting. I'm hooked!

Catknip - that's awesome! I can't wait to see it in a few weeks - bring it to the AGM!

J - what is a wedding ring shawl? Do tell!

Ok. Catknip is the star! Only last week she couldn't knit and talk to other people and now she's listening to podcasts? We need to get you a blog.

A wedding ring shawl is very fine lace made with very fine yarn. The finished shawl is very light yet warm and can be pulled through your wedding ring.
