Remedial Hanami Knitters Unite!

Are you behind on your Hanami? Frustrated with the slipknitpassover? Don't be discouraged! I've just finished my third repeat of the basket weave. Yes the destination is important but so is the journey. I won't be finished with everyone else but I will finish (start anthem here). It was very inspiring to see everyone's beautiful work. Look for pictures of my finished Hanami on Ravelry. Oh and T & J? When does the next one start?

I'm so excited that you're in Ravelry! (You are in, right?) And who cares how long it takes to knit the Hanami as long as you're happy with what you're doing! Go, Catknip, go!

I haven't got my invite yet .... but one day I will and I'll be posting like crazy. I've started learning how to cable.

catnip... I just started my Hanami yesterday, so you've got company. As for the next KAL that T. & J. are "apparently" wanting to start (wink, wink) ... I do have the Shehezerade pattern waiting!! (and I'm sure I'll bring up the rear in that one too!)

I think I am on repeat 4 of the basketweave. Have to get a few gifts done this month and then I can get back to it a few nights a week.

I'm a bit swamped with KALs right now, so I would suggest a brief intermission, but I would love to knit another one of Melanie's shawls with ya'll. I've already knit Scheherazade, but I have Leda's in my stash waiting, or I really like the Moon Dance stole. My Mom wants a black stole so Moon Dance would be perfect! Perhaps we could start again in January????

I have Sheherazade on my list, too. I have the yarn all picked out and everything, just haven't started yet. I'd love to KAL that one!

Whew!!!

I was beginning to feel like the only one bringing up the rear. I am starting my last repeat of the basket weave pattern. Feeling a little pressure to catch up. But I have enjoyed every moment of the process.

I can do it...I can do it...I can do it.............

I'm still waiting for my 3rd pair of needles so I can finish my swatch! Maybe I'll have the swatch finished by the end of the KAL - I've enjoyed all the posts despite not knitting along with you all
