Well, I swatched yesterday for my Hanami. I am disappointed in my beads, they are way too dull against the rose petal fino. So I've ordered some beads from the Bead Wrangler (Not Affiliated, except as a customer).
I ordered a pink and also two different crystal colors. Melanie suggested that the crystal beads would look like raindrops in the 'blossoms' part of the stole. I haven't decided if I'm going to bead the entire stole yet, but I like the concept.

I order a ton of beads from Emilia Beadelia's E-bay store (NA). I'm still not sure if I want to go subtle, shimmer, or obvious. I've been holding the beads up to the yarn I'm using to see which I like the best for the design. I'm also wondering if I want to do pink, white, or crystal/silver beads. *sigh*
I ordered my beads from beadwrangler. They were a little slow in delivering them, but when I contacted her she was very good about helping resolve the issue. The beads arrived yesterday, they are beautiful and were well packaged. I would order from her again.
I ordered from BeadWrangler once before - and was pleased with the service and especially the packaging. Her little 'film canister' packs are so much easier to handle and less spillage than the long tubes.
