Have pattern, have yarn--ye olde standby, Zephyr. Just waiting for beads to arrive--with luck they'll be here by Friday. Can't wait to start!

Hey Amy - I just swatched my Zephyr last night. Have you swatched yet? Just wondering what gauge you're getting on #3s, as the pattern calls for. Mine seems to be right on gauge with the 3's, which scares me b/c I never, EVER get gauge with the recommended needles...

No, I've used Zephyr enough to know that I like it with a #4--besides, I only have one lace needle--in a #4, of course (hee, hee). I also very, very rarely get gauge with the recommended needles. I tend to be an extremely loose knitter and usually start swatching with a needle two sizes smaller than called for, unless I'm knitting lace, in which case I evidently knit tighter and go up a size. My gauge for MS3 (using Zephyr and #4) was 5.21 sts/in, semi-blocked.
