soon, soon, soon . . .

. . . I'll be finishing the Hanami and actually blocking it! I've been knitting on Hanami since before MS3 started, put down MS3 to pick Hanami back up and have knit two pair of socks in between along with other assorted bits on projects. I've finally decided to concentrate on finishing my beautiful Hanami. So, I'm starting Chart E today. I'm not sure I like the totally symmetrical section of Chart G at the end, so before I start Chart F, I might decide to repeat the first 8 rows of F a couple of times (didn't someone else do that) so I can just skip Chart G totally. I'll make up my mind when I get there. Not sure about the ruffle either - not really a ruffle kind of woman and this one's for ME!

When I get there, I'll take pix and post them.

Onward! Chanda in Mississippi

Good for you!

I was one of the people who repeated bits of chart F rather than doing chart G, and I remain very happy that I did. Chart F seems organic, and chart G just seems so structured! I did chart F twice, and then repeated the last dozen or so rows of F another time.

Thanks for telling me how you did it. My brain is kinda mush right now and I was questioning whether I should go ahead and wing it or do the pattern as written. You expressed it perfectly. Chart G is too structured for me too. I think I'll do like you did - chart F twice and repeat the last 12 rows of F again. That makes such sense to me. I'm finished with E so I'll start F this week. Maybe I can finish within the next two weeks (working hard on a pair of socks too.)
