Seven is my new lucky number ...

Last night at SnB I began my seventh attempt at the Hanami. I have to apologise to the people around me for my lack of interesting conversation but I have completed 2 whole rows of the pattern! This is a HUGE milestone for me! I'm feeling quite hopeful about this project now. Thanks to everyone for your tips and tricks. They really got me through that nasty moment when I botched attempt #6 ( I was questioning my lace knitting skill and my aptitude in general). Let me finish a few more rows and I'll post some pictures!

Hurray!

It was me, wasn't it? I helped, I know I did.

You did help a ton! I think it was your calm knitting demeanor that pulled me through.

Woo Hoo!!! Can't say I've been lucky. Haven't made it through a full repeat. On the purl row I keep getting my needle hooked in the yarn which is giving me extra stitches and messing me up. I keep frogging...kniting...frogging, etc.

I'm becomming very frustrated!!! Maybe my Hanami isn't meant to be. :(
